I will be showing new work at the following galleries:
Cottage Row Gallery, Fish Creek, WI
I show my paintings, prints, and notecards year round in this lovely restored barn
located behind Orchard Country Winery and also the Trolley Tours south of Fish
Creek on Highway 42. There is a wonderful collection of paintings, prints, photographs
and cards by many other talented artists, as well.
Call 920-868-2626 or www.cottagerowgallerydc.com.
The gallery is open daily in summer and fall and a varied schedule during the winter
and early spring.
Moondeer & Friends Gallery, Boulder Junction, WI
I am pleased to be included in this colorful gallery full of art of all types! This
gallery is certainly worth a visit if you are in the Northwoods, and it is conveniently
located in downtown Boulder Junction.
Call 715-385-2082 or check www.moondeergallery.com for
information on hours and gallery artists.
Wisconsin Arts Framing and Gallery, Green Bay, WI
It’s nice to have work displayed close to home! Wisconsin Arts offers a wide
selection of quality artwork plus framing services. They are located at 1780 Allouez
Avenue in Bellevue, between Bellevue and Lime Kiln Road. You can contact them at
920-465-6611 or www.wisconsinartsgallery.com.
2014 Scheduled Workshops
Please contact me (920-336-7511 or email@example.com)
for any questions you may have on workshops. I
do not handle the registration for them, but can
answer most questions you might have about them.
I would suggest signing up early, as many classes
start registration in February or sooner. For The
Clearing and Peninsula School of Art I would contact
them to be on a mailing list or check their registration
dates. While classes sometimes fill up early, do
be aware that there is often a wait list, and many
people on the wait list can end up in the class.
Generally, feel free to use your favorite paints,
paper and brushes. A supply list is available
if you wonder what I prefer to use.
April 14-15, Janesville, WI – L’Atelier
Contact Claudia at firstname.lastname@example.org or
A return visit to Janesville and the colorful, quirky L’Atelier. I have done
many classes here, and this class will be my first TWO day class for them. One day
will focus on landscape and one on flowers. Some experience necessary to get the
most out of the class.
April 26 – 27, Northbrook, IL – Northbrook Arts Commission
Contact Marilyn at 847-498-1929 or email email@example.com for
information and sign-up.
This two day Saturday/Sunday class will be my first visit to teach in Northbrook.
I am looking forward to sharing my thoughts on keeping landscapes fresh and simplified
as well as using negative painting and flowing colors to do more close-up studies
of flowers or nature.
August 11-13, Fish Creek, WI – Peninsula School of Art
Phone 920-868-3455 or check their website www.peninsulaschoolofart.com for
more information regarding the class and registration.
I have been teaching at Peninsula School of Art since the early 1980’s. It’s
a wonderful place offering art classes and exhibits in all media. Nice studios
and beautiful gardens in this wooded setting make for a great experience.
August 25 -27, Green Bay, WI – Green Bay Botanical Garden
You can call the garden at 920-490-9457 or check their website for classes offered
at www.gbbg.org . Sign up anytime. The new
classrooms on the lower walk-out level are full of light and convenient. There
is an elevator, too. Plan on being inspired by the beauty of the late summer
garden. You may paint indoors or out, and learn techniques for both landscape
and flower studies.
October 12 -18, Ellison Bay, WI – The Clearing
Call 877-854-3225 or check the website www.theclearing.org for
a full listing of their weekly classes. This class is residential, providing almost
all meals and lodging for the week in comfortable cabins and mostly twin rooms
with baths. The homemade meals are fabulous, the setting on the bluff in Ellison
Bay is magnificent, and the fun of painting fall together is the best. The
Schoolhouse is open 24 hours a day for your convenience, and there will be two
other classes offered this week as well. This class is for people with painting
experience. Sign up early!
